Good morning all! I hope you are enjoying this Tuesday morning. We are having a short Indian Summer here so it is going to be a nice day. I don't plan on getting used to the warm weather because winter is certainly on it's way. Today's post is my first ever spinner card. What a neat idea, I just love it! The challenge at Tiddly Inks starting today is to make one of these great cards! Just click here, enter the challenge and view all the other cards made by the other DT members. I'm sure once you see them you'll want to join in on the fun!
I used the image Batty for my card and made a second print of the bat to use for my spinner. Here it is!
I colored my image using copic markers and shaded the outside of my image using Stampin Up's Elegant Eggplant Stamp pad. I also used this to stamp the dotted circle on my spinner. The dotted circle is a Stamp from Stampin Up's Circle Circus set. I thought the image Batty would be perfect for this card so I could then use an additional copy of the bat for my spinner. The background paper is from Summertime designs and the link can be found on the side of my blog. The jewels are self-adhesive and I purchased them at Michael's. If you'd like to know how to make a spinner card here is the easy tutorial I used before making mine.
I also made a VERY short video showing you how the spinner should move. There isn't any sound and my spinner wasn't 100% cooperative, but you should get the idea.
I'm so glad you decided to stop by today,
