Tiddly Inks - Treat Bags or Boxes

This will be my first post as a Tiddly Inks DT member. For the challenge this week you can make a treat bag or box using a Tiddly Inks image. You can find all the great Tiddly inks images by clicking here.

I made a gable box using a tutorial I found at Split Coast Stampers. Just click here to find a tutorial for this box. The image I used is called Betty Belfrey. I colored the image using copic markers and added stickles to the bodice of her dress. I used a feathering technique to blend the orange and purple with the black on her dress. The purple oval is embossed using a cuttlebug embossing folder. The bat is a Stampendous stamp and the spiderweb stamped on the purple background is from the Stampin' Up set Seasonal Whimsy.

To see other great treat bag and box projects just click here to hop on over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog to see what the other DT members have made.
Thanks so much for stopping by today,
Marlena

  3. What a fabulous treat box! I love how you colored the image. Black things are always hard to color (for me at least) and you did it beautifully.
