Saturated Canary - Sewing

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday evening!  Tonight I am posting a card using the Saturated Canary image, Violet.  I am cutting it close to enter my card into this week's challenge, but I had such a hard time figuring out how I wanted to sew on my card, ugh!  I do not really enjoy sewing on my cards so I kind of draw a blank every time I try it.  It's hard to believe that sewing was my very first craft and I just used to LOVE to sew.  These days I am much happier around paper than a sewing machine.  Truth be told though, I have always enjoyed hand sewing more than machine sewing.

Anyway, back to my card.  Here it is, sewing and all, and just in the nick of time to enter into this week's challenge at the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog.

For the sewing on my card I used my machine and some pretty multicolored thread that I have had a for a long while.  I sewed around my die cut circle.

Materials Used:
Copic Markers - mostly V's and RV's
Martha Stewart large border heart punch
Prima flowers
Pearls
Pearl border
Martha Stewart frond punch
Spellbinders dies

Here's a close up of my colored image.

Isn't she such a cutie?! I just love her!!!

So glad you stopped by today,
