Tiddly Inks Tuesday - Celebrate

Good morning everyone, Happy New Year!  Welcome to my first post of 2012!  What better way to start the new year then with a Tiddly Inks challenge!  And, just to make sure we find some time to celebrate the new year, that's our theme for this one, Celebrate.  Make a card or a project that has a celebration as a theme.

Now, with the new year a few changes are being made at our Tiddly Inks challenge blog.  We will now being having a bi-weekly challenge instead of a weekly challenge.  Which means you will get a little more time to create those Tiddly Inks inspired projects!

For my project this week I used the image, Danny's Duck.  I made this card to go with my son's birthday present.  He is a Christmas baby but we like to celebrate a few weeks after Christmas,  We want his birthday to be his own special day, just like the rest of us get to have!

Materials Used:
Copic Markers
Spellbinder's dies
MS Around the Page punches
SU sentiment stamp
MS Border Punch

Here's a close up of Danny and his duck.

Also today Christy is releasing some fabulous new images!  Wryn and friends are simply adorable!  If you can stop by the store and take a look!

I can't wait to see all the wonderful creations for this new challenge!  If you can, please take the time to check all of our fabulous DT projects!  That's where I'm headed!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

  6. I must know your secret! How do you make your colouring look like it's glowing? Do you use the 3 colour rule with Copics ie: W7, W5, W3 or do you jump more between light and dark.

Such gorgeous work. Love the border bunch and the highlight pen on the ducky's nose. Hope you little guy enjoys it. Almost not fair for them to have their B-day's usurped by the holidays.
