7 Kids College Fund Wednesday

Good morning everyone and happy hump day!  The first two days of this week have actually flown by, so I can't complain too much at the moment!  We are supposed to be getting snow today, yup snow!  Real snow too, accumulating snow!  We haven't had a real snowfall here all winter.  This is the strangest winter I can remember.  Even the weather man on the local news is using the winter's strange pattern this year to advertise his segment on the news.

Today at 7 Kids College Fund we are starting a new challenge.  Our challenge this time around is to make anything EXCEPT a card.  And don't forget to use an image and/or product carried in the 7 Kids College Fund store in order to win our prize.  For my project I used the Sarah Kay image, Margeaux is Painting and made a 6x6 inch art journal.  I wanted to use heavier pages on the inside so the journal would except many different mediums.  To do this I used a nice heavyweight water color paper as my pages.

Materials I Used for this Project:
Copic Markers - R27, R24, R22, R21, B18, B16, B12, B000, E57, E55, E53, E51
Cinch binding wire
MS Frond Punch
Floral Embellishments

Here's a close up of my colored Sarah Kay image.

Currently at 7 Kids College Fund there is currently a "Do Good" raffle to benefit the Singleton Love Foundation.  Click HERE to find out all the details on how you can support this organization and be entered in to raffle to win.

Time for you to stop by the challenge blog and check out the other DT projects.  These projects are fabulous!  I hope they get your creative juices flowing and you enter into our current challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping by,

  1. Hey Marlena...this is just amazing!! And you actually did the binding yourself!! (I cheated and used a $1.00 journal from Michael's!hehe!) I love Sarah Kay...and this little Margeaux is sooooo cute! In fact, I just bought her from 7 Kids! Hugs. Pat Frank

  2. Your colouring is absolutely stunning. Love this journal. Am a great supporter of 7 Kids all the way from South Africa. Nice visiting you today. hugs Sharon
