Meljen's Designs - A Girl and her Kitty

Good morning and Happy Saturday to all of you!  Although I am feeling a little under the weather this Saturday I am excited!  School just got out for winter break and I am hoping for a week to catch up, enjoy my family and craft, craft, craft!  We only have a few appointments and then I hope to stay home and relax with the kids! Now, with a 3 year and a 14 year old I'm not sure how much relaxing I'll be doing, but a girl sure can try!

Today I am posting a project using the Meljen's Designs image, A Girl and her Kitty.  I am such a fan of kitty images as I have always had a cat, in fact we currently are living with three of them right now.  The hubby isn't as fond of the hair they leave but I enjoy having them in the house and the kids do too!

I used some new tools, or "toys" as I like to call them, for this project!  I of course used my copic markers to color my image.  I also used a new lace border punch from SU and a SU Bravo Burgundy stamp pad.  It's hard t believe this color was one of the first stamp pads I ever purchased from SU many, many years ago.  I used a new Spellbinder's Foliage die, my Big Shot, SU Whimsical Words sentiment stamp, a Spellbinder's label die (I never remember what number they are), MS Rose Leaf punch, flowers and pearls.

Here's a close up of my colored image.

Of course we have a challenge currently going on at the Meljen's Designs challenge blog.  This week's challenge is Anything Goes.  Just use a Meljen's Designs image and you can enter any style project you want this week!  Looking for some inspiration, well the Dt have created some for you.  Be sure to stop by and see their fabulous creations!
Thanks so much for stopping by today,
