Meljen's Designs Thursday

Good morning!  Today starts a new challenge over at Meljen's Designs.  This week we are looking for your pastel colored cards.  This is a nice refreshing change for me since I am definitely into the bold, bright colors!  But don't forget the rules at our challenge have changed and you have to use a Meljen's Design image to enter.  Don't worry though, Melissa has so many great ones to choose from, you're sure to find something you like!

For my project I used the image Stitched Swirls heart.  I am still in the heart and pink mode at the moment.  I'm sure that will change as soon as Valentine's Day is over.  But then again, pink, red, white and hearts are so classic and beautiful colors together I'm sure I'll use them again.

This is such a simple but beautiful image to use on a card.  This card just fell together after I started creating it.  The materials I used to make this card are copic markers, SU lace border punch, Memento Angel pink stamp pad, MS frond punch, pearls and flowers.  The copic markers I used are RV23, RV10, RV000, C3, C1, Y13, Y11, Y000, colorless blender.

Here's a close up of my colored heart.

Are you ready to play along?  I hope so, but if you need a little more inspiration just stop by the Meljen's Challenge Blog to see what the other DT members have thought up for you!

AND, in other crafty news the new store blog from 7 Kids College Fund is coming SOON!  Really, it's just a few days away!  Keep your eyes out, there will be a giveaway involved with the launch!

Thanks so much for stopping by today,
