Tiddly Inks Tuesday - Sparkle

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day!  I hope you all have someone to share this special day with.  This is a very chaotic day in the world of an elementary school teacher.  When you have a class of 22 kindergartners, each with valentines to share, the energy level automatically rises.  It will be a very energetic day but the kids enjoy it and that's all that matters.

Today we are starting a new 2 week challenge over at Tiddly Inks.  For this challenge we want you to use SPARKLE on your projects.  It's time for you to bling up those cards and really make them shine!  For my project this week I used the Tiddly inks image, Fairy Fae Catches a Star.  I made my card nice and sparkly it is ready to shine!

Even my sentiment is full of sparkle.  I'm not sure how well you can see it on my picture but I used a gold glitter embossing powder on this part of my card.  The other MATERIALS I used are copic markers, SU Bashful Blue stamp pad, Cricut Expression, IRock glittered embellishments, MS border punch, crystal stickles and diamond stickles.  I cut the flourishes on my Cricut expression using my SCAL program.

Here's a close up of Fairy Fae.

I actually did use slightly different shades of blue for her dress and her hair.  Of course, right now I just don't remember the shades I used!  Sorry about that, some days the old brain just doesn't retain all the information that I want it too!  The ladies I work with who are older than me tell me it just keeps getting worse as you get older.  Boy, am I in trouble if that is true!

Don't forget to stop by the challenge blog to check out all the other great images by my fellow DT members.  They are always so inspiring and I know you will just want to start creating and enter after you have seen them all!
Thanks so much for stopping by today,
