Tiddly Inks Tuesday

Good morning everyone and welcome to my blog today.  Although we are still on our current challenge at Tiddly Inks  I wanted to share a project I made using a Tiddly Inks image.  The image I used on today's project is called Goldilocks and can be found at the Tiddly Inks Basement store.

I'm starting to enjoy putting together art journals and today's project is no exception.  This one I made using a covered heavy card stock and watercolor paper for the inside.  I have found that I like using watercolor paper because it is nice and heavy and can be used for multi-media journal pages.  This journal is blank on the inside and can be found at my ETSY store.  I have also been working on my own personal art journals and have really been enjoying using different materials than I use on a regular basis.  I have even been using a lot of decoupage, which is truly amazing because I hate gooey, sticky feeling materials on my hands.

Materials I used on this project:
Copic Markers
Prima Flowers
Crytal Stickles
Glossy Accents
The Cinch
The Cinch Binding wires
Watercolor paper
Spellbinder's Label die

Here's a close up of my colored image.

I got the Cinch 2 for Christmas but just starting using it recently.  I really love this second version.  It just seems to work much easier and I love how you can change the setting on the back for the size wire you are using!
Thanks so much for stopping by today,
