Magnolia, Tilda with Ballet Shoes

Hi everyone!  It's Tuesday afternoon and I am trying to unwind after my day at work.  Of course, with a three year old,a teenager and my husband still at work it isn't working so well.  Thank goodness for laptop computers and portability, it really is my saving grace at the moment.  Actually, my darling daughter is being a teenager and hanging out in her cave, oops, I mean her room, and my son is playing with his cars.  So, I am taking the opportunity to post today's project while I can.

The card I made today uses the Magnolia image, Tilda with Ballet Shoes, which I got from 7 Kids College Fund.  I love my dance images and this time of year I like to make cards for my daughters dance teacher, and this cutie was just perfect.  PLUS, all those cornered swirls are cut using my new Black Cat cutter, which I love.  Don't get me wrong, I still have a lot to learn, and some accessories that will make the intricate cutting look much nicer, but I do what I can!

Materials I Used For This Project:
Black Rhinestones
Black Cat Cougar Cutter

Here's a close up of my colored image.

Isn't this Tilda just precious?  I just adore her.  In fact, when I first saw the collection come out I wasn't going to get her but the moment I saw her colored up on someone else's project, I knew she was a must have!
Thanks so much for stopping by today,

  1. Love the layout of this design...shows her, and your coloring, off perfectly.

  2. I agree that she is adorable & I love the way you colored her.

  3. You've colored her so beautifully Marlena. She will be a wonderful card for your DD's dance teacher. So thoughtful of you.

I LOVE to hear from you! Comments are welcomed and appreciated!
