Tiidly Inks Tuesday - Happy Mother's Day

Good morning everyone!  I hope you are all doing well on this Tiddly Inks Tuesday.  Mother's Day is this weekend here in the United States and time is running out to make those Mother's Day cards and gifts.  I make five Mother's Day cards every year.  One for my very special mother, then for both of my grandmother's and both of my mother-in-laws.  My husband has his mother and a step-mother as well, so I have 2 mother-in-laws.  I can't really complain though because we are blessed to have such a wonderful family and each of these women hold a special place in my heart.  My world is truly better for knowing each and every one of them and I thank God that I have them in my life.

Since Mother's Day is just around the corner for us our challenge at Tiddly Inks this week is to make a Mother's Day card.  Now, I know we don't all celebrate Mother's Day at the same time, but maybe you could make a mother themed card, or just a special thank you for your mom, or special woman in your life.  For my card I used the Tiddly Inks image, Wryn - Spring Bling.

Materials I Used for This Project:
Copic Markers -
MS Border Punch
MS Frond Punch
Wild Orchid Flowers
Pearls
K&Company patterned paper
Spellbinder's Nestabilities label die
SU sentiment

Here's a close up of my colored image.

Now it's your turn to create your mother themed card and enter it into our challenge.  The rest of the Design Team has some fabulous project to inspire your creativity, so why not hop on by to see what they have created!
Thanks so much for stopping by today,

  3. Marlena, your coloring just totally blows me away. I can't believe the shading you got on those flower circles. And don't let me get started on the wonderful color combinations of papers and Sketch. This is a absolutely stunning work of art.
