7 Kids College Fund Wednesday - Stars and Stripes

Good morning everyone!  For all of us here in the U.S., Happy 4th of July!  We are spending the day at home, doing a little swimming and then having our own family cookout, just the four of us.  I can't wait!  The kids and I spent some time outside swimming yesterday and it was a blast.  Our schedules are always so crazy and opposite of each other, even in the summer, that an extra day together, to really spend time together, is such a treat!  I hope the rain stays away long enough for us to have some fun.  But, to tell the truth, just having a little extra time together will be nice!

Today at 7 Kids College Fund we are starting a new challenge.  This time around our challenge is Stars and Stripes, just perfect four our 4th of July holiday here in the U.S.  Of course, it doesn't have to be around our holiday, any project with stars and stripes on it will do.  But, don't forget, you need to use an image carried at 7 Kids College Fund to enter our challenge.

For my project I used the Sarah Kay image, Michel.  I've used a lot of little kid images this week.  They all remind me of little ones anxiously awaiting the parade to roll on by.  The border on my project I created myself as it has stars and stripes in it.   I was so excited to be able to make it and then cut it on my Black Cat cutter!

Materials I Used on My Project:

Here's a close up of my colored image.

Now it's your turn, pull out your 7 Kids College Fund stamps and create a project fitting our theme.  We can't wait to see what you create!  Stop by the challenge blog to get inspired by our fabulous design team samples.
So glad you stopped by today,
