Phindy's Place Friday - Buttons

Good morning everyone, T-G-I-F!  A few more hours and the work week will be over and for those of you out there who are not on summer vacation, I hope you enjoy your weekend!  Well, I hope ALL of us enjoy our weekend, but if you are working during the week then I'm sure that the weekend is a much needed break for you.  During the school year I spend as much time as I can on the weekend in my craft room because I am always short on time during the week.  Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to spend hours of uninterrupted time creating and crafting!  I know, I know, a girl can dream, can't she!

Today we are starting a new challenge at Phindy's Place and the challenge this time around is Buttons.  If you haven't joined our challenge in a while, or if you are new to the challenges at Phindy's Place then you may have missed that starting this month our challenges are now 2 weeks long.  Which means you know have 2 weeks to work on your project and then link it up to our challenge!

For my project today I used the Phindy's Place image, Riding Along.  You'll have to forgive me, if you look closely enough at my card you will see that the image is crooked.  I have developed a terrible case of placing things crooked on my card and, of course, the more I try to make them straight the more crooked an item gets.  I'm working on it and I HOPE it goes away soon!  It is driving me completely bananas.

Materials Used on My Project:
Copic Markers
Wild Orchid Flowers
Prima flowers
Fiskars corner flourish punch
Spellbinder's Nestabilities dies
Buttons
Baker's Twine

Here's a close up of my colored image.

Now it's up to you!  Create a project with buttons on it and link it up to our challenge.  Don't forget, you have 2 weeks to enter!
So glad you stopped by today,

  1. Marlena, this is beautiful. Love the color palette and coloring. The flowers are a sweet embellie. I can't tell that the image panel is crooked, looks straight to me! Another great creation!
