Tiddly Inks New Release - Fantasy Friends

Good morning everyone!  It's Tuesday morning and today at Tiddly Inks Christy is releasing several beautiful new stamps! The new set of stamps are called Fantasy Friends and are just amazing!  For my project today I used the image, Magda and Sparkle.  Now, I have to admit the second I saw this stamp in the group I knew the direction I wanted to go when coloring it.  If you've been by my blog before then you are aware that I am a Primary School teacher, Kindergarten to be more specific.  Well, one of my favorite parts of teaching is finding those great books that are fun to read and hold the kids attention.  Books that don't only keep a kids attention but keep them wanting more and talking about this book with others.  Well, If you have ever read the book Pinkilicious, you will know what I am talking about.  After Pinkilicious came several other books in this series, including Goldilicious.  Well, Golilicious is an imaginary horse who is Pinkilicious's friend and Sparkle reminds me of Goldilicious, so that's what I used as my inspiration to color her.  Now, if you are thinking that I get way to involved in my children's book series, well, you are right!  My hope is to pass a little of this excitement about reading onto my students before they leave my classroom each year!

Back to my project, since my horse is Goldilicious, then my girl is of course Pinkilicious, so I colored her all in pink.

Materials I Used on My Project:
Copic Markers - RV25, RV23, RV10, RV000, Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11
Spellbinder's Scalloped Square dies
Wild Orchid Flowers
Pearls
Diamond Stickles

Here's a close up of my colored image.
