7 Kids College Fund Wednesday - Shaped Card

Good morning everyone!  Happy Wednesday and Happy August 1.  Yes, it's true we have left July behind and now we are entering into the second and last full month of the summer. I'm hoping for a nice s-l-o-w August with plenty of time left to hang out with the kids and enjoy some nice warm weather.  July was good but it went way too quickly!

Today at 7 Kids College Fund we are starting a new challenge.  This time around we are looking for your shaped cards.  No typical square or rectangle cards this time, we want  you to make a card with a different shape.  I wanted to make a more unique shape for my card and since I decided to use the image, Waterlily Tilda, on my card I thought I would try to make my card the shape of a lily pad.  I'm not sure how easily you can tell that the shape of the card is a lily pad, but it is.  I also used the Magnolia stamp, Prince Philip for this card.

This is what the inside of the card looks like.  I added some cat tails to the inside of my card as well.

Materials I Used on My Project:
Glossy Accents
Black Cat Cougar Cutter

Here's a close up of my Tilda and "Prince".

Now it's your turn!  Create a shaped card  and enter it into our challenge.  Please remember that the challenge rules state that you must you a product carried by the 7 Kids College Fund store to enter.  If you're looking for a little extra inspiration please stop by the challenge blog to to the fabulous projects the other DT members have created.
So glad you stopped by today,
