Tiddly Inks - The Night Before School

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a fabulous Wednesday!  The work week is half over so if your day isn't going so great, maybe you can take a little refuge in that!  Tomorrow is my last day of summer school and hopefully my last day of putting my room together until school begins, which gives me a little over a week to get together things at home, run to several appointments, and of course work on last minute school planning that I can do from home.  My classroom is basically put together, with a lot of Pinterest inspired additions.  I plan on taking some pictures tomorrow and then I will post them for you to see.  I have tried to open up my class as much as possible to make it feel more spacious, comfortable and to be a positive learning environment for my incoming students.

Today I am posting a card I made using the Tiddly Inks image, Sweet Dreams Wryn.  If you've been to the Tiddly Inks site you know that when you purchase this image you get two versions, Wryn reading in or out of the bed.  I've chosen the version of Wryn reading out of the bed for my card.  I've added a poem about the night before school inspired by a book I often read to me summer school kindergartners titled, The Night Before Kindergarten.  The week before school can be such an  exciting and nerve racking time all rolled into one, for students and teachers alike!

Materials I Used on My Project:
Copic Markers
IRock Rhinestone embellishment
MS Border Punch
Wild Orchid Flowers
MS Rose Leaf Punch
Spellbinder's dies

Here's a close up of my colored Wryn.

Thanks so much for stopping by today,
