Papelitos Stamps - Anything Goes

Good morning everyone!  Happy Tuesday to all of you out there in cyber land.  Today I am happy to be posting a card I made as a Guest Designer for the Papelitos Stamps Challenge Blog.  For the next month I will be guest designing for their challenges and I am excited about the opportunity!  What a great challenge to start with, Anything Goes!  It left my creativity open to interpretation and when I saw the Papelitos image, Ana I knew just what I wanted to do.  I am currently on an art journal kick.  I have just fallen in love with the idea of allowing yourself to be so free and able express yourself in a way that is creative and totally your own.  I am such a stuffy person, hardly ever taking risks and always playing things safe.  I find that by experimenting with art journaling I can break out of that mold and take a "walk on the wild side", so to speak.  So far my journals have still been pretty tame, but give a girl time.

Anyway, the one thing I have been doing is finding of examples of things I would like to draw and storing them on a Pinterest Board.  Then I have been printing them out and taping them to one side of a small drawing journal I have made so it can be portable and I am able to take it anywhere.  I really want to practice my drawing skills so this is how I have begun to do it.  Since Ana is an artist I have covered the front of my most recent journal and it will be my new place to practice drawing.  I've also finally realized that my crafts aren't necessarily something I always need to give away to others, I can keep them for myself as well.

Materials I Used for My Project:
Copic Markers
Black Rhinestones
Spellbinder's Circle dies
MS Border Punch
Cinch Binding Machine
Cherry Lynn dies doily die

Here's a close up of my colored image.

Just perfect for this journal, don't ya think?  I hope you can take a moment to stop by the Papelitos Stamps challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping by,
