Tiddly Inks - Happy Bee Day

Hi everyone, how are you on this Sunday evening?  I am beginning to get a little bit bummed as tomorrow is my last official day of summer vacation.  After that I am back to the daily grind of work, getting kids off to school/daycare and all the activities that happen after school.  I know you know what I mean, it's part of the joys of life and parenthood.  The funny part is that each activity by itself are no big deal.  I enjoy teaching, that's why I became a teacher.  I love my kids and enjoy seeing them involved in activities outside of the school day.  Put them all together in a day or a week and life becomes hectic, just plain busy.  But I''l tell you a secret, I wouldn't change it if I could, where would I be without my family, my career and a little of the craziness of life!

To find some inner peace during my crazy life I of course find time, or sneak time, in my craft room to create.  Tonight I am posting a perfect end of summer card using the Tiddly Inks image, Happy Bee Day.  It's ironic as well since the last few days we have been "chased" after by more bees then I think I have seen all summer.  Every time we take a moment to sit outside a bee seems to trail along behind us and although I don't hate bees I don't enjoy seeing them lurking around every corner either.

Materials I Used for My Project:
Copic Markers
Spellbinder's Classic Circle and Scalloped Circle dies
SU stamp set
Wild Orchid Flowers
Water Colors
Pearls
MS Border Punch

Here's a close up of my colored image.

So that's it for me and soon to be the end of my summer vacation!  I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening and what is left of your summer as well.
Thanks so much for stopping by today,
