Tiddly Inks Tuesday - Choose A Technique

Can you hear me giggle, well I am.  Right now I am listening to one of hubby's brilliant plans.  Don't get me wrong,  Hubby is a genius when it comes to out of the box thinking.  Seriously, he is.  He's also just like me and my crafting addict moments, he is completely involved and excited about what he is talking about.  I mean, eyes lighting up, voice energetic, you get it I'm sure.  What is he excited about, a big screen TV and the TV stand he hopes to make when he finally allows to get himself one.  He's been talking about getting a big screen TV for YEARS.  But whenever he gets the chance he always thinks of something better to spend his money on.  He probably will this time as well, although I hope not as he really deserves to treat himself every now and then.  And, don't tell him I said so, but his TV stand idea really is brilliant.

Unlike hubby I am happy to spend my time and money on my passion, which brings me to my Tiddly Inks project for today.  We have a new challenge starting for you and this time around we are asking you to use a Tiddly Inks image and Choose A Technique to use on your project.  On my project I decided to do some heat embossing.  My white background paper has flowers heat embossed with a distressed pink embossing powder and my sentiment uses black embossing powder.  I love the look of heat embossing but I often have difficulty keeping it clean and neat looking, which is my style.  Of course, I also used a Tiddly Inks image for my project and the image I used today is Spring Hugga-Bugga.

Materials Used:
Copic Markers - Dress: R22, R20, R00, R000, Skin: E11, YR01, E01, E000, Flower: Y15, Y11, Y000, C5, C3, C1, CB
Heat embossing Powder
Spellbinder's Classic Large Oval and Scalloped Oval
MS Flower Border Punch
Fiskars Flower Punch
Wild Orchid Flowers

This cute image just makes me want spring to show up even more.  Unfortunately, we are still hanging onto winter around here and spring just peeks her head out every now and then and before you know it is back in hiding.  Maybe this cutie can help coax spring out of hiding permanently.  Who knows, stranger things have happened!  Lol!

It's your turn to play around with your favorite technique, use your favorite Tiddly Inks image and then link your project up to our challenge.  Need a little inspiration, you can find some at the challenge blog.  Of course the other members of the DT have some absolutely fabulous projects that will knock your socks off!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
