Tiddly Inks Tuesday - Wryn

SO, this weekend I took the hubby and little guy shopping to our local shoe store.  The one that sells shoes for flat footed people like me who stand on their feet all day and pay for it.  Especially if the right shoes aren't being worn.  I have worn my summer shoes to death and I was in need of new ones.  WELL, I found 5, yes 5 pairs of shoes that I LOVED, spent more money than hubby loved and bought the little guy a pair of sneakers that have laces.  He is four now and I wanted to get him started on learning to tie.  This has been a HUGE problem because all of the shoes for kids his age are velcro, YUCK!  I KNOW velcro is easier, come on now, I teach kindergarten.  BUT, the kids are never going to learn to tie their shoes if they don't have the opportunity to do so.  That simple.  Guess what, he hates the shoes.  They hurt.  UGH.  Well, we are slowly going to work him into wearing them anyway.

Why am I telling you all of this.  Well, I was happily prepared to wear my cute new shoes to church on Sunday and to work this week.  I was contemplating which pair I would wear first when WHAM, the weather changed.  The heat is back on at night and we are covering our plants so they will survive the cold.  No bare feet at the moment for me.  Stay tuned though, the weather is suppose to improve as the week goes on and if it does my shoes WILL be coming out of their boxes!

Today we have a new challenge for you at Tiddly Inks.  This time around we have all used a Wryn image on our projects.  That's the challenge, create a project using a Wryn image, there are Oh so many adorable ones to choose from, and then link it up to our challenge.  Wryn is just way too cute to pass up and if you don't have any then maybe this challenge is a good way to get your collection started.  The Wryn I Used today is Picture Perfect.

Do you ever get bored with your projects?  Feel like you are creating cookie cutter cards with only the image changing each time?  I do and so I changed it up a little bit with this one.  I used my Zutter distressing tool, which I love but very rarely use and didn't add one flower.  I can't believe I could stop myself from adding flowers, but I did.  Just a little different from my usual creations but it was a nice change.

Materials Used:
Copic Markers
Glossy Accents
Zutter Distressing tool
MS Large Border Punch
Cheery Lynn Small Flourish
Stone Embellishments

I don't color black hair very often but I thought I would give it to Wryn this time around.  She's look cute with black hair, don't you think.  Okay, now it's your turn!  Create a project using your favorite Wryn and link it up!  AND, don't forget to stop by the challenge blog and get even more inspiration from the rest of the Tiddly Inks team.  Don't Worry, you'll be glad that you did!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
