The Sweet Stop Sketch #218

It's Saturday again and you know what that means, a new sketch for you from The Sweet Stop.  It's a good time to work on a project since we are stuck inside in the air conditioning.  The heat and humidity has overstayed it's welcome, for sure.  The upside, plenty of time to work on a card for today's new sketch.  Find a cool place, get out your card making supplies and play along.

Here's our sketch for this week.

AND, here's my card using this week's sketch.  For the image on my project I used the Sweet & Sassy digital image, Kate & Lizzy.

I used my sister and myself for the inspiration when I colored this one.  The taller one I colored using my skin and hair tones and the smaller one is colored using my sister's skin and hair tones.  I'm not sure we hugged each other like that when we were kids, but no one needs to know that, right?

Materials Used:
Copic Markers
Wild Orchid flowers
MS Frond Punch

Now it's time to go and check out the fabulous projects made by the rest of the Sugar Babies!
Thanks so much for stopping by,

  1. Another adorable image, beautifully colored, Marlena! Love how you used your sister and yourself as inspiration for this gorgeous card! Hugs!

  2. Love how you have coloured this cute image! The sketch is a great foil for regular shapes like rectangles, and your card is such a sweet take on it! Hugs x

  3. Darling card Marlena. Such a sweet image. Love the fabulous coloring and the pretty colors. The white dots on their face look perfect.

  4. Love this card. This image reminds me of my sister and I. Love the pearls-nice touch.

  5. What a sweet card, and colored so beautifully too! I love that you designed this with your sister in mind - so thoughtful!
