The Sweet Stop Sketch #220 - Sketch with a Spin

Good morning everyone, happy weekend!  Another week of summer has flown by, of course this week it flew by with a miserable heat wave.  Each day of the week got hotter then the next and I am surprised we haven't melted from it yet.  Yesterday I took some time to do a little shopping, mostly craft shopping, and I think everyone else did the same.  It was even a little to hot to go swimming, the air quality was pretty bad, so I guess retail therapy was the way to beat the heat.  The stores were so crowded and I am not a fan of crowded store shopping.  But I got what I needed, and then some, which is always good when going shopping, so my trip was successful.

Today we have a new sketch for you at The Sweet Stop, Sketch #220 and this time it is a sketch with a spin.  The spin is to use doilies, which is great for the current sketch as it uses circles.  Take a look below and you will see what I mean.

For the image on my sketch this week I used a Little Miss Muffet Digital Stamp, Polka Dot Pals, Heidi.  I used a Cheery Lynn Design die for my doily "spin", the Kiwi Spirit Doily die.

Materials Used:
Copic Markers
Cherry Lynn Die
Spellbinder's dies
Wild Orchid and Prima Flowers
EK Success Border die

Now it's your turn to play along.  Follow our sketch, don't forget our spin of using a doily this week, and then link it up at our challenge blog.  The other Sugar Babies have created the most fabulous projects to inspire you!
Have a great day!
Thanks so much for stopping by,

  1. What a great colour scheme for this card, to complement the beautiful image! The Kiwi doily is close to home for me (NZ being a neighbour to Aust) and I love it. I also like the fancy circles you have used for your other doilies. The fancy border and the flowers add just the right touch! Hugs Ann x

  2. Such pretty colors you've used this week, Marlena! The coloring on this adorable image is as awsome as usual...beautiful take on this week's sketch! Hugs from the beach!

I LOVE to hear from you! Comments are welcomed and appreciated!
