Hi everyone, it's Tuesday and my turn at MarkerPop to share a tip, or trick, with you for the day. I think mine could be qualified as both. It is one of those things that once you start doing it you are like, OOOH, why didn't I think of this sooner?! What is my tip for today? It is a helpful trick when making boxes, especially when trying to make the edges of your box even. I don't know about you but I ALWAYS have such a hard time with this and uneven edges just drive me crazy. So, I figured out a way to at least hide that your edges are uneven and help make your boxes look beautiful. My tip has to do with cutting the corners of the edges of your boxes. On one edge of the box you will be making cut at a very slight angle. Starting at the fold and working your way out. This will cut off any uneven edge while still adhering your box as it should be. Here are few pictures to illustrate what I mean.
For my project today I made a card set with a gift box. The image I used on this set is the Elisabeth Bell image, Pretty Kitty.
