The Sweet Stop Sketch #232

As I am beginning to write this post I'm watching the most heartwarming scene in my living room.  My boys (hubby and my son) are sitting on the floor playing with the little guys trains.  They had the best tunnel set up over his Thomas the Train track and he knocked it down "by accident".  Now they have to sit and rebuild it again, which is my sons way of getting daddy to stay and play with him.  Of course, it isn't very hard, daddy takes time every day to play with our boy and I LOVE to watch.  These are the things that memories are made of and I know our son will have fond memories of his time playing with daddy.  Of course, one of our cats had to get in on the fun as well and kept laying right in front of Spencer every time he tried to build the track.  Talk about wanting some attention, geesh.

Today we have a new sketch for you at The Sweet Stop.  This week is sketch #232 and for my card I used the Mo's Digital Pencil image, end of Summer.  This image fit nicely on the card and worked well with this week's sketch.  Let's take a peek at the sketch for this week.

And, here is my card and my take on this week's sketch.

Materials Used:
Copic Markers
Glossy Accents
MS Border Punch
Magnolia Doohickey die
Fiskars Flower Punches
Pearls

I'm off to run some errands and enjoy some family time today.  I'm hoping for good weather to start getting some winterizing done as well.  Hubby usually does it alone but we have been so overwhelmed this fall he is going to need a little help.  Besides, a lot of what needs to be done is my flowers and flower pots anyway.

Don't forget to stop by the challenge blog and check out the fabulous projects created by the rest of the Sugar Babies.

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!
Thanks so much for stopping by,

  1. What a fabulous card Marlena. It must have been hard to color the very detailed image (lots of tiny flowers).... but boy, does it look amazing! The punched flowers look so pretty!

  2. Marlena, this is so bright and cheery! Love the blue and orange color combination. The daisies are an excellent touch.
