Tiddly Inks New Release - Pixies

Good morning everyone!  Today Christy from Tiddly Inks is releasing some absolutely fabulous new images!  There are several new pixies and they are simple adorable.  Of course I had to play around and create a project with at least one of these images and I chose Persephone Pixie.  I really have been wanting to make a card-in-a-box project and so that's what I did.  I first saw one of these when my friend and teammate Lou began making them, and after seeing all of her fabulous projects I thought I might give it a try.

Materials Used:
Copic Markers
Stickles
CM Star Punch
EK Success Zigzag Punch
Rhinestones

I'm not sure how I feel about how VERY blue her hair is, but it's growing on me!

I hope you can take a moment to stop by the Tiddly Inks store and check out the other sweet Pixies that were released today!
Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday!

Tiddly Inks Tuesday - Celebrate

Good morning everyone, Happy Tuesday!  After an absolutely miserable, overwhelming week last week mother nature decided to surprise us with some gorgeous springtime weather.  Take away the yucky wind and it would have been the most perfect weekend and Monday.  It is back to reality though with rain today and MUCH colder weather tomorrow.  That's okay though, at least I am on vacation this week.  Of course, what am I doing with me week off, well today I am running into school for a couple hours to catch up on a little work I got behind on.  At least I won't be missing any warmth while I am there.

Today at Tiddly Inks we have a fun challenge to share with you and that is to make a Celebration themed card.  With Easter being this weekend mine is an Easter card for one of my family members.  Just a few more to go before the weekend, images colored but cards not put together, no problem, right!?

For my card I used the Tiddly Inks image, Faythe, Flower Girl Extraordinaire.  Since Easter makes me thing spring and flowers I thought she would work wonderfully for my card.  I used a fold I have never tried before today as well.  I saw this fold on Pinterest, my absolute addiction, and originally on this blog HERE.  I just had to try it and I am happy with the way it came out.

Materials Used:
Copic Markers
SU Easter Sentiment Stamp
MS Border Punch
Spellbinder's dies
Wild Orchid Flowers
EK Success Punch
Stickles
Glossy Accents

I've been playing around with my coloring  lately, trying things a little different here and there.  I'm not sure it has improved anything but it never hurts to try!

Of course the rest of the lovely ladies that make up the Tiddly Inks Design Team have created the most amazing cards to share with all of you.  I hope you can take a moment to stop by the challenge blog to check them out.  And don't forget to use a Tiddly Inks image on your challenge project!
Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday,

Tiddly Inks Throwback Thursday

Hi everyone, a two card week for me, a rarity for sure.  I'm hoping things will start settling down as we get closer to the summer.  I am hopeful that summer will be a good time for me to catch up on some rest, energy, but most of all crafting.  At the very least it will be a good time to catch up on some warm weather and sun.  I have been missing those very much lately, just like many others up here in the NorthEast.

For my Throwback Thursday project at Tiddly Inks I used the Tiddly Inks image, Belle.  I love this image and was happy to play around and make a card with it again.  I used much paler colors than I typically do so I'm not sure how I feel about it, but here it is.  I think her curls are my favorite, but I love her dress as well.

Materials Used:
Copic Markers
Spellbinder's dies
Wild Orchid Flowers
Pearls
MS Border Punch
MS Frond Punch
Stickles

I hope you are having a fabulous Thursday, especially since Friday is just around the corner!

Tiddly Inks Tuesday - Think Spring!

My motto these days is "Think Spring".  I am in desperate need of sun, warmer weather and lighter clothing.  I can't believe how far into spring this cooler weather has gone.  There was ice this morning, that's right ice, not that far from where I live, yuck!  Our new challenge from Tiddly Inks, Anything Spring, has come in the right time to bring some bright, cheerful, spring goodness.  Maybe the beautiful spring creations by the Tiddly Inks DT and all of your fabulous projects when you enter our challenge, (wink, wink) will inspire mother nature to follow along.  A girl can hope, can't she!?

Today's project is going to be my grandmother's birthday card.  She is going to be 87 on Thursday.  I hope I can manage to make it to the age of 87.  For my card I used the Tiddly Inks image, Danni Dress Up.

Materials Used:
Copic Markers
Wild Orchid Flowers
MS Double Border Punch
MS Frond Punch
Spellbinder's dies
Pearls

Here's hoping that the sun is shining down on you as you enjoy this beautiful day!  I also hope you had some time to stop by the challenge blog to check out the projects by the rest of the Tiddly Inks DT.  They are just gorgoeus, I know you will love them!
