Valentine's Day!

Hi everyone, Happy Valentine's Day!  We exchanged our Valentine's yesterday in my classroom and hubby and I exchanged ours today.  Roses, new jammies and a gorgeous new locket were my gifts and a Sears gift card, his FAVORITE, chocolates and a few new tops that he wanted were what I gave to him.  Of course, I can't leave the kids out, but they are still sleeping so they will simply have to wait for their cards and gifts.  Funny thing is both of my kids ASKED for cards for Valentine's Day.  My daughter even put in an order for what she wanted on her card.  I guess they are as used to my card making addiction as everyone else in the family!

So, in honor of Valentine's Day I am posting the cards that I made for all of my loves.  Hubbies card uses a Mo's Digital Pencil image, Bubble Love.  It's getting hard to find new images to put on his cards as I have been making him cards for so long now.  Thank goodness for the new releases that all of my favorite stamp companies often have!

I colored the image with my copic markers, cut the border with a Martha Stewart border punch, my favorites, Fiskars punches for the hearts and a Spellbinder's dies to cut out the image.

My son's card also used a Mo's digital Pencil image, Look Ma.  You may notice that the color theme of the card is yellow and black.  There is a reason for this, my son is a HUGE Transformer fan and one of his favorites is Bumblebee, so anything colored in his color scheme is a favorite for him.

Again, I used my copic markers and Fiskars heart punches.  The rest was cut more simply with my paper cutter as he is 6 and I'm not sure how fancy he would like his card!

Finally, for my daughter.  The card didn't quite fit her request, but close enough.  The image on her card is from I Brake for Stamps, Mother and Daughter Femme.  I hope she likes it, you never know with a teenage girl.  I tried to color the image to have a resemblance to her and I, we shall see what she thinks.

More of the same for this card but I was able to add a few Wild Orchid Crafts flowers on this one, thank goodness for the girl.  Boys just really need to increase their love of bling!

I hope you have someone to enjoy your Valentine's Day with!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
