Hi everyone!  Today I am posting a few cards that I made for my niece and nephews birthdays this past month.  They are teenagers, so you can imagine how hard it is to make cards for them.  The first card uses an image from Tiddly Inks, Wryn Swinging By.  The second is an image from Mo's Digital Pencil, Zoom.  This one was for my nephew as he turned 16 this year, yikes!

I colored this cutie using copic markers and embellished it using Wild Orchid Flowers, Spellbinder's dies and Martha Stewart punches.  The Happy Birthday sentiment stamp is from an old Unity Stamp company Kit of the month.

My niece can be a daredevil so I thought this image would be cute for her.

This image was also colored using copic markers and embellished using Spellbinder's dies and EK Success Punches.  The 16 was cut on my Silhouette machine.

I hope you all are enjoying the end of the summer!  It's back to school for me soon!

New Cards

Hi all!  Today I am posting a few new cards that I put together this week.  One of the images has been colored for quite awhile, I just hadn't yet put it onto a card.  The other I just colored for a contest at Kit and Clowder on Facebook.  If you are a paper crafter, and haven't yet seen Kit and Clowder, I highly recommend it.  The group on Facebook is incredibly supportive and just a wonderful bunch of crafters.

The first card I am going to share uses the image Day of the Dead Alex image from Simply Betty Stamps.

I used copic markers for the image and I colored her after the hair and skin class at Kit and Clowder.  This is one of the images where I just love the way her hair and skin came out.  I used glossy accents on her eyes, Spellbinder's and Cheery Lynn designs dies and Wild Orchid Flowers.  I also used and EK Success Punch and black self-adhesive rhinestones.  A girl has to have her bling.

Here is a close up of the image.

The next card I made used a Ching Chong Kuik stamp, Love in Spring.  This is the image that I used for the contest at Kit and Clowder on Facebook.  It was a half price image, but really she is worth her price!

I tried to think a little  outside the box with this one and made a tri-fold card with a little twist.  The front has a nice shape that allows the image to be seen even though both flaps are closed.  For this card I use Glossy Accents on her eyes again.  I love big eyes and I think they look even better when you give them a little shine.  The flowers were made using different size Fiskars flower punches and
the flourished embellishments is a Cheery Lynn Designs die.  Pearls and Diamond Stickles were the final touch for this one.

That's it for me today!  Hope you are having a nice relaxing Sunday!
