SnowDrop

Good morning and Happy Mother's Day to those of us in the U. S.  I'm sure you don't want to see the title Snowdrop on this Mother's Day, but it is fitting as it is the title of the gorgeous digi that I have used on my card today.  The image is a digital stamp from Ching Chong Kuik.  I love her images, they are simply GORGEOUS!  She has a great ETSY shop which you can find HERE.

Of course I colored this beauty using copic markers.  Since she is a fantasy image I decided to go outside of the box with her hair color.  The flowers are Wild Orchid and the die cuts are Spellbinder's die, Martha Stewart and Fiskar punches.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

A Little Reading Time

Good morning everyone!  It's  been a few weeks since my last post.  The school year is winding down and time is just flying before my eyes!  My promise to myself is to spend more time over the summer devoted to my crafts and my blog!  I miss sharing my creations with all of you!

Today I am sharing a card using the Saturated Canary image, Melissa.  This image reminds me of my, gulp, youth when I used to have the time to sit and read more often.  Of course there were those nights when I have gone to bed reading for just "a little while" and then found my self still up at 2am because I just couldn't put the book down until I finished.  That is exactly what this image reminds me of.

I colored the image using my copic markers and used a little glossy accents on her eyes to make them shine.  The flowers are a combination of Prima and Wild Orchid.  Spellbinder's die, Martha Stewart, EK Success, and Fiskars punches were used for the rest.

I hope you are having a truly fabulous Sunday!  Look for this cutie in my ETSY SHOP!
