June Cards

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday to all of you!  Since I posted Mother's Days cards in my last post I thought I would continue on and share the cards I made for Father's Day as well!  I always struggle with male cards as you just can't add the bling that you can to female cards so I always feel as if they are unfinished.  The guys seemed to like them, so I guess I can't complain.

The first card is the one I made for my husband.  It uses a Saturated Canary image, Liam's Good Catch.  I also used my Spellbinder's dies and a few embellishments.

The next image is called Fixer Boy and is from Mo's Digital Pencil.  Again, I finished up with some Spellbinder's dies, a Martha Stewart border Punch and a few embellishments on the corner.

For my dad I used a Tiddly Inks image and sentiment.  This one is called Dad's Tree.  No Spellbinder's dies on this one but a few embellishments to make it pop just a little.  I colored the pearls using my Ranger alcohol inks.

One last card has an image from Little Miss Muffet.  This one is called Bandit Boy Tom.  More spellbinder's dies, Martha Stewart punches and pearls for this one as well.

That's all of them.  Colors and patterns aren't the best for these cards but I was making them on the fly between work and family obligations and as I said, male cards are completely out of my comfort zone.

Enjoy your Sunday!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
